TOUR PROGRAM:

After breakfast, we depart from your hotel in Yerevan with our professional guide and driver to begin the tour.

Our first stop is the historic city of Aruch, which served as the capital of Armenia during the rule of Grigor Mamikonian (661–682). Here, we visit the impressive Aruch Temple, one of the most significant architectural monuments of its time.

We then proceed to Marmashen Village, where we explore the Marmashen Monastery Complex, built between the 10th and 13th centuries and regarded as one of Armenia’s most distinctive examples of medieval religious architecture.

Continuing our journey, we arrive in Gyumri, Armenia’s second-largest city. Here we visit:

  • Sev Ghul Fortress, one of the city’s historical defensive structures,

  • Kumayri Historic District, where we take a walking tour among traditional 19th-century Armenian houses,

  • Dzitoghtsyan Museum of National Architecture, offering insight into Armenian architectural heritage and urban life.

Following our exploration of Gyumri, we continue to the Harichavank Monastery Complex, dating back to the 13th century. This monastery is considered one of the most impressive religious sites in the region, both architecturally and due to its scenic location.

After completing the program, we return to Yerevan and transfer our guests back to their hotels.

Upon arrival at the hotel, our full-day tour concludes.
