Tour Program:

We begin our tour with Jvari Monastery, one of Georgia's most significant religious sites. This UNESCO World Heritage site showcases architectural features from the early Christian era and offers a panoramic view at the confluence of Tbilisi and Mtskheta. From here, we proceed to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia. In this historic city, considered the spiritual center of Georgia, we take a short shopping break at the Souvenir Market, where we can find Mtskheta's traditional crafts and souvenirs.

Next, we visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, the center of the Georgian Orthodox Church. According to legend, Christ's robe is believed to be buried here, making this cathedral one of the most important structures in Georgia's religious history, with its impressive architecture. After exploring this historic cathedral, we set off toward the city of Gori.

For lunch, we take a pleasant break to enjoy the delicious dishes of Georgian cuisine. After lunch, in Gori, the birthplace of the famous Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, we visit the Gori Stalin Museum and Birth House. This museum, where we can see details about Stalin's life and career, contains artifacts, documents from that era, and Stalin's personal train carriage.

Following this historical experience in Gori, we head towards Uplistsikhe Open-Air Museum, one of Georgia’s oldest settlements. This ancient rock city, filled with caves, stone paths, and temples, sheds light on Georgia's ancient periods. In the enchanting atmosphere of this unique structure, we take a journey back in time, experiencing Georgia's cultural richness more deeply.

We end our day filled with unforgettable experiences of culture and history, and set off on our return journey.
