Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Tbilisi Overnight Journey

At 19:00, we are greeted by our guide at Trabzon Square and board our waiting vehicle to head to Batumi. After completing our passage with our guide, we embark towards the city center. Along the route, after seeing the bust named St. Andrew's Enlightenment Road, we proceed towards the Gonio area. Passing through Gonio, we spot Gonio (Apsaros) Fortress on our right, where Saint Matthias, one of the 12 apostles of Jesus, was killed by the locals. After panoramically viewing this fortress, we continue on our route lined with eucalyptus trees. Further along the route, we see the shooting range used during the Soviet era on the left side. Afterwards, we cross over the Çoruh (Chorokhi) River, which originates from Bayburt, and make our first entry into the city center. Continuing on, we enter the boulevard road, noticing Batumi Airport bearing the signature of Turkish contractors and its communication tower resembling a princess's skirt. Along the boulevard, we are drawn to tourism investments on the left side, passing by Collosseum Hotel and the White Restaurant (upside-down house) in succession, and then noticing the Batumi Courthouse, reminiscent of an inverted milk bottle, on our right side. Passing through the city center, we catch a panoramic view of the Dolphinarium, where dolphin shows take place, and Nurigeli Lake, one of Batumi's two large artificial lakes, on our right side. Further ahead, on the left side, we spot Shota Rustaveli State University, named after the famous medieval Georgian poet, along with its campus. As we approach the city center, we see the house where the famous Russian writers Anton Chekhov and Maxim Gorky lived for 15 years, now serving as the Bern Restaurant, and after taking breaks along the route, we arrive in Tbilisi in the morning hours.

Day 2: Sightseeing and Tbilisi City Tour

In the morning hours, we arrive in Tbilisi and head to the Marjanishvili district where we will have our breakfast. After breakfast, accompanied by our guide, we set out to explore the unique beauties of Tbilisi. Our first stop is the famous Rustaveli Avenue, where we stroll to feel the pulse of the city's heart and visit the Freedom Monument. We also see the statue of Georgian artist Shota Kavlashvili and the Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theater. At Anchiskhati Virgin Mary Church, we discover traces of Georgian Orthodox tradition. Then, we feel the dynamic spirit of the city at Sharden Bar Street. Next, we visit the area of the Sulphur Baths, a hidden secret in the historical depths of Tbilisi. These baths, which form the old texture of the city, are silent witnesses to Georgia's long and complex history. Initially built in the Middle Ages, these magnificent structures have evolved over time with various cultural influences and have become an integral part of the city's cultural identity today. Passing through the historic narrow streets above the Sulphur Baths, we reach the Jumah Mosque. As we feel the historical atmosphere of the mosque, we embark on a journey towards the tranquility of the city. Crossing the Peace Bridge, we witness the magnificent view of the Tbilisi cable car under the shade of the Tree of Life. Climbing up to the King Vakhtang Gorgasali Monument, we admire the panoramic view of Old Tbilisi.

During lunch, we provide free time to taste the delicious flavors of Georgian cuisine and for shopping. At the end of our tour, we return to our hotel in Tbilisi to relax and make use of our free time for dinner. Guests who wish to have dinner can join the unforgettable experience of the Georgian Gala evening. In this special event, they will experience the richness of Georgian culture and discover traditional dances, music, and flavors.

Day 3: Mtskheta - Borjomi - Batumi Tour

After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we begin our journey back to Batumi. On the way back, we head towards Mtskheta, the ancient religious center and former capital of Georgia, to visit its historical sites: the Jvari Monastery (6th century) and the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century), where the robe of Jesus was said to be buried. Following our tour of Mtskheta, we proceed to Borjomi, where we taste the famous mineral water, the country's most important export product, straight from its source in the valley. After visiting the Water Park and Central Park, we take a Soviet-era cable car to the summit, where we have free time to admire the view and take photos. Then, we arrive in Batumi. We start our exploration with a visit to the Batumi Central Mosque, also known as the Valide Sultan Mosque, renowned for its captivating wooden interior. Next, we explore one of the most beautiful places in Batumi, Piazza Square, which resembles European city squares, and see landmarks such as the Medea Statue, the Adjara Autonomous Republic Administration Building on Konstantine Gamsakhurdia Avenue, and the Poseidon Statue atop a fountain symbolizing power and ambition. We also visit Theater Square, where we learn about its tragic stories, take photos of the Drama Theater, and then proceed to the Old Batumi Boulevard, with its lush greenery and captivating seaside promenade. Along the way, we see the unique "custom design wedding hall" among the intriguing modern architectures. After taking photos by the fountains on Old Batumi Boulevard, we pass by the Alphabetic Tower, which features all 33 letters of the Georgian alphabet and serves as a restaurant. Then, we see the moving sculpture of the characters from Kurban Said's famous novel "Ali and Nino" depicting the love story of Georgian Princess Nino and Azerbaijani nobleman Ali, and our guide narrates their tales. Afterward, we have free time for tea or coffee by the sea. At 20:30, we begin our return journey. Upon completing the border crossing process at the Sarp border gate, we arrive in Hopa.

We bid farewell, hoping to meet you again in another adventure.
