Tour Itinerary
Embarking on an adventure departing from Trabzon Square at 7:00 am with the sunrise, we commence a journey from the azure waters of the Black Sea towards the heart of the Caucasus. Setting forth from Trabzon illuminated by the first rays of the sun, renowned for its warm hospitality and mystical beauty, we head towards Georgia. At the outset of our journey, we cross the border at the Sarp Border Gate, marking the boundary between the two countries. Throughout this marvelous tour, you'll experience the enchantment of nature and begin to discover the unique beauties of Georgia.
Accompanied by our guide, after completing our passage with our identity documents, we proceed towards the city center. Along the route, we pass by the bust named the Enlightenment Path of St. Andrew and progress towards the Gonio region. Passing through Gonio, we catch sight of Gonio (Apsaros) Fortress on our right side. After glimpsing at this fortress, where Saint Matthias, one of the 12 apostles of Jesus, was killed by the locals, we continue our journey along the route adorned with eucalyptus trees. Further along the route, on our left side, we see the shooting range used during the Soviet era. Subsequently, we cross over the Çoruh (Chorokhi) River, originating from Bayburt, and make our first entry into the city center. On our way, we notice Batumi Airport, bearing the signatures of Turkish contractors, and its communication tower resembling a princess's skirt with its architecture. As we proceed along the boulevard, we are drawn to investments made in tourism on our left side. We pass by Collosseum Hotel and Senate Restaurant (upside-down house), and continue our route, catching a glimpse of the intriguing upside-down milk bottle-like architecture of the Batumi courthouse on our right side. Passing through the city center, on our right side, we catch a panoramic view of the Dolphinarium, where dolphin shows are held, and immediately adjacent to it, Nurigeli Lake, one of Batumi's two large artificial lakes. Soon after, on our left side, we see Shota Rustaveli State University, named after the famous medieval Georgian poet, along with its campus. As we approach the city center, we catch a panoramic view of the house where the famous Russian literary figures Anton Chekhov and Maxim Gorky lived for 15 years, which now serves as Bern restaurant, and continue our journey towards Poti.
Upon arrival in Poti, situated on the tranquil shores of the Black Sea, we visit the Zugdidi region to explore the unique beauties of nature in this magnificent area. Zugdidi is renowned for its historical and natural riches, harboring many places worth exploring. One of the most remarkable structures in this region is the Dadiani Palace, which attracts history and culture enthusiasts.

While exploring this natural wonder, visitors often take boat tours through the canyon. The Gori Stalin Museum and Train Carriages are located next to the house where Stalin was born and provide visitors with detailed information about Stalin's life and significant moments of the Soviet era. After our explorations in Gori, we continue our journey towards Borjomi, famous for its healing mineral waters. Our first stop is the Batumi Valide Sultan Mosque, built in 1866 and known for its wooden interior. At Europe Square, we see important symbols such as the statue of Georgian politician Memed Abashidze and the former central bank building, used as Batumi astronomical clock.
Among the striking modern artworks reflecting the city's modern texture are the Medea Statue completed in 2007, the Adjara Autonomous Republic Government Building, and the Poseidon Statue.
