Tour Itinerary

Day 1: From the Black Sea to the Embrace of the Caucasus

As the sun rises, we meet with our guests at 12:45 in front of Rize Municipality to embark on this unforgettable adventure. After picking up other participants along the route, we start our journey by crossing the border between the two countries at the Sarp Border Gate. Throughout this wonderful tour, you will experience the enchantment of nature and begin to explore the unique beauties of Georgia. As we travel towards the city center with our guide, you will start to discover this region where history and nature intertwine.

Along the route, after passing Gonio, we catch sight of Gonio (Apsaros) Fortress on our right side. After a panoramic view of this castle, where one of the twelve apostles of Jesus, Saint Matthias, was allegedly killed by the locals, we continue our journey through a route lined with eucalyptus trees. Further along the route, we see the shooting range used during the Soviet era on the left side. Then, we cross the Çoruh (Chorokhi) River, which originates from Bayburt, and make our first entrance into the city center. On the road ahead, we spot Batumi Airport, designed with the signature of Turkish contractors, and its communication tower resembling a princess skirt. Continuing along the boulevard, we notice investments made in tourism on the left side, and then we see the Colosseum Hotel and the Senate Restaurant (upside-down house) in succession before continuing our route. We then catch sight of the Batumi courthouse, resembling an inverted milk bottle, on the right side. Passing through the city center, we see the Dolphinarium, where dolphin shows take place, and right next to it, we have a panoramic view of Lake Nurigeli, one of Batumi's two artificial lakes. A little further on the left side, we see the Shota Rustaveli State University, named after the famous Georgian medieval poet, along with its campus. As we approach the city center, we catch a panoramic view of the house where the famous Russian writers Anton Chekhov and Maxim Gorky lived for 15 years, now serving as the Bern restaurant, before arriving at the restaurant where we will have our lunch.

After lunch, our first stop is the Batumi Valide Sultan Mosque, built in 1866 and known for its wooden interior. Then, we visit the Piazza Square, reminiscent of European city squares, and the St. Nicholas Church located in the square. In the European Square, we see important symbols such as the statue of the Georgian politician Memed Abashidze and the Batumi Astronomical Clock, which was previously used as the central bank. Among the prominent and attention-grabbing works reflecting the city's modern texture are the Medea Statue completed in 2007, the Adjara Autonomous Republic Administration Building, and the Poseidon Statue. Throughout our tour, we listen to the city's tragic stories in Theater Square and visit interesting structures such as a specially designed wedding hall on Old Batumi Boulevard and the Alphabetic Tower.

Experiencing the romantic atmosphere of the city, we visit the historical lighthouse and the Ali and Nino statue at Miracle Park. Then, we have free time by the sea for tea, coffee, and shopping. After the free time, we settle into our hotel in Batumi, relieving the fatigue of this exciting day.

Day 2: A Georgian Adventure from Batumi to Kutaisi

We wake up in our hotel with the freshness of the morning and start our day with a delicious breakfast. After gathering our energy, we hit the road to explore the unique beauties of nature, starting from the tranquil shores of Zugdidi after Batumi. Get ready to discover the splendor of the Dadiani Palace and the unparalleled beauty of nature here. In these lands surrounded by green mountains, a paradise where history and nature merge awaits you.

Zugdidi offers its visitors unforgettable memories and moments of tranquility. Your journey continues with the magnificent beauty of Kutaisi, reaching its peak with the crystal-clear waters and impressive cliffs of Martvili Canyon. Accompanied by tour guides, you will have a unique opportunity to explore the mysteries of nature as you pass through the canyon.

This unforgettable stroll through Martvili Canyon is an indispensable experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers. After completing our tour in Martvili, we embark on an exploration of the legendary Prometheus Cave Natural Monument. The enchanting stalactite formations and underground rivers inside the cave will captivate us.

After our unforgettable journey at Prometheus, we settle into our hotel in Kutaisi to unwind from the day's fatigue and digest this magnificent experience. You'll have free time until our evening meal at the hotel. Georgia is a country that wonderfully blends history and modernity.

Day 3: Journey to Tbilisi, Exploring the Riches of Georgia

Waking up to the beauty of a new day, we set out towards Tbilisi, the current capital of Georgia, after a splendid breakfast at our hotel. Upon our arrival in Tbilisi, guided by our tour leader, we turn our route towards Rustaveli Avenue, one of the unique beauties of Tbilisi. Walking along Rustaveli Avenue, we feel the rhythm of the city's heart and visit the Freedom Monument. We also see the statue of Georgian artist Shota Kavlashvili and the Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theater. At Anchiskhati Virgin Mary Church, we discover traces of Georgian Orthodox tradition. Then, we feel the dynamic spirit of the city at Sharden Bars Street with its lively atmosphere. Next, we visit the area where the sulfur baths, a hidden secret in the historical depths of Tbilisi, are located. These baths, forming the old texture of the city, are silent witnesses to Georgia's long and complex history. Initially built in the Middle Ages, these magnificent structures have evolved over time with various cultural touches and have become an integral part of the city's cultural identity today. Passing through the historic narrow streets above the sulfur baths, we reach the Juma Mosque. As we feel the historic atmosphere of the mosque, we embark on a journey towards the city's tranquility. Crossing the Peace Bridge, we witness the magnificent view of the Tbilisi cable car under the shade of the Tree of Life. We climb up to the King Vakhtang Gorgasali Monument and admire the panoramic view of Old Tbilisi.

We allow free time for a hearty lunch featuring flavors from the Georgian cuisine and for shopping. At the end of our tour, we return to our hotel in Tbilisi to unwind from the sweet fatigue of the day and to enjoy free time for dinner. For those interested, in the evening, guests can join the unforgettable experience of the Georgian Gala night. In this special event, they will immerse themselves in the richness of Georgian culture and explore traditional dances, music, and flavors.

Day 4: From Ancient Mtskheta to Batumi and the End of Explorations

After a delightful breakfast at the hotel to recharge our energy, we set off towards Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, to delve into the country's historical and cultural heritage.
