Along the route, we pick up other guests, crossing the border at the Sarp Border Gate, the starting point of our journey between the two countries. Accompanied by your guide, as we make our way towards the city center, you'll begin to discover this region where history and nature intertwine.

As we pass through Gonio, we see Gonio (Apsaros) fortress on our right, where it is believed that Saint Matthias, one of the 12 apostles of Jesus, was killed by the locals. Continuing along the route lined with eucalyptus trees, we see the shooting range used during the Soviet era on the left side. Further ahead, we cross over the Çoruh (Chorokhi) River, which originates from Bayburt, and make our first entrance into the city center. Along the road, we notice Batumi Airport, constructed by Turkish contractors, and its communication tower resembling a princess's skirt. Entering the boulevard, we observe investments made in tourism on the left side, passing by landmarks such as Collosseum Hotel and Senate Restaurant (upside-down house), before continuing our route and noticing the Batumi courthouse, resembling an inverted milk bottle, on the right side. As we pass through the city center, we catch a panoramic view of the Dolphinarium on the right, where dolphin shows are held, and next to it, Nurigeli Lake, one of Batumi's two large artificial lakes. Further ahead on the left side, we see Shota Rustaveli State University and its campus, named after the famous medieval Georgian poet. Approaching the city center, we catch a glimpse of the house where the famous Russian writers Anton Chekhov and Maxim Gorky lived for 15 years, now serving as the Bern Restaurant, before arriving at our restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, our first stop is the Batumi Valide Sultan Mosque, built in 1866, known for its wooden interior. Then, we visit the Piazza Square, reminiscent of European city squares, and the Saint Nicholas Church located on the square. In Europe Square, we see important symbols such as the statue of Georgian politician Memed Abashidze and the former central bank building used as the Batumi astronomical clock.

Among the remarkable works reflecting the city's modern texture are the Medea Statue completed in 2007, the Adjara Autonomous Republic Administration Building, and the Poseidon Statue. Throughout our tour, we hear the tragic stories of the city in Theatre Square and visit interesting structures such as a specially designed wedding hall on Old Batumi Boulevard and the Alphabetic Tower.

Walking along Rustaveli Avenue, our first stop, we feel the rhythm of the city's heart and visit the Freedom Monument. We also see the statue of Georgian artist Shota Kavlashvili and the Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theater. At Anchiskhati Virgin Mary Church, we discover traces of Georgian Orthodox tradition. Then, we feel the dynamic spirit of the city on the lively Shardeni Street. Next, we visit the area where the famous Sulphur Baths, a hidden secret in the historical depths of Tbilisi, are located. These baths, which form the old texture of the city, are silent witnesses to Georgia's long and complex history. Initially built in the Middle Ages, these magnificent structures have been shaped over time by various cultural touches and have become an integral part of the city's cultural identity today. We prepare to savor the romance of Sighnaghi, also known as the City of Lovers. By panoramically viewing important points such as the Wedding House and the Theater Building, we unravel the mysteries of this enchanting city. Then, for those who want to delve deeper into Georgia's history and culture, we offer a unique experience by visiting the Sighnaghi Regional Museum, which is filled with historical artifacts and exhibitions. To gain further insight into Sighnaghi's rich heritage, we see the Memorial Wall displaying various memories reflecting the city's history and culture. Continuing our journey, we visit the Sighnaghi Walls, built throughout history to protect Sighnaghi, while walking on top of them, offering magnificent panoramic views of the city. After our romantic moments in Sighnaghi, we begin our journey towards Telavi.

We start with a visit to the Alaverdi Monastery, one of the most impressive and oldest religious structures in Georgia, near Telavi.
